Antigone

Originally Written by Sophocles

Adapted and Co-Created by Kate Besworth

Directed and Co-Created by Ming Hudson

This new adaptation of Antigone is focused on the following elements: effective choral storytelling, minimalistic design, female and diversity forward casting, and a collaborative and inclusive work process. We aim to bring the audience around our campfire in a back-to-basics storytelling style, using mainly human bodies as our instruments of narrative and theme. Simple and effective is what we are striving for in order to tell the devastating and beautiful story of Antigone and her family.
